About Us

For more than a century, Ladies’ Delight Light has guided boaters safely across Lake Cobbosseecontee at night. Built in 1908 by the Cobbosseecontee Yacht Club (CYC), its main purpose has remained the same ever since.  Today, CYC exists for one essential purpose:

To preserve, maintain, and protect this historic lighthouse for future generations.

CYC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated exclusively to the stewardship of the lighthouse. This work is far more than routine upkeep — it is a commitment to safeguarding a landmark that defines the character, safety, and history of the lake.
